Finally, another blog post! And this one with pics from several months ago. Yes, I know… I’m lame…
We went to Angie’s good friend’s wedding in mid-May in Lexington. Spent a lovely weekend there and shared a nice room with our good friends Joel and Lee-Anne Fenwick. Joel’s buddy worked for the hotel chain and was able to supersize our room at no cost to us. Suh-weet.
Andrea and Kevin got married on a horse farm in a renovated barn next to a country house with several barns and horses nearby, a beautiful area known as Agnus Dei Farm). The storms mostly held off except for some crazy wind. Angie and Lee-Anne both played in the wedding (piano and violin respectively) and did a great job despite the hurricane wind. You can see from the pics that, while some sun was out, the storms lurked in the background.
I didn’t take any pics of the event since the pros were there and I didn’t want to be in their way. Ironically, I don’t have any of Kevin and Andrea, they were running around rehearsing, taking care of things, and such. So, here are some shots of us hanging out, getting ready, some horses, barn cats, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera…
